Nicaragua

History

Nicaragua made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1968 and has competed ever since, with the exception of 1988. The nation typically sends a small delegation with fewer than 10 athletes competing in such sports as athletics, boxing, shooting, swimming and wrestling. Nicaragua has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
