Grenada made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1984 and has competed ever since. The nation sends a small delegation to compete with no more than 10 athletes competing at any single Olympics. The sports Grenada has so far competed in are athletics, boxing, swimming and taekwondo. Grenada has won two medals, both from middle-distance runner Kirani James whom won gold in 2012 and silver in 2016 in the men’s 400m.
