History
The British Virgin Islands made its first Summer Olympic Games appearance in 1984 and have competed ever since. The British Overseas Territory sends a very small delegation of athletes with fewer than five appearing at each Olympics since 2000. They typically participate in athletics, though historically they participated in sailing. They have yet to win their first Olympic medal.
