Belize

History

Belize made its first Summer Olympic Games appearance in 1968 and has competed ever since with the exception of 1980 with the United States-led boycott. Belize sends one of the smallest delegations to the Olympics, sending no more than five athletes since 1996. The nation typically competes in athletics and historically they also competed in cycling. They have yet to win their first Olympic medal.
