Aruba

History

Aruba made its Summer Olympic debut in 1988 and has participated ever since. The Kingdom of the Netherlands territory previously competed as part of the Netherlands Antilles before it became a separate entity within the kingdom. Aruba typically sends a small delegation of around five athletes to the Olympics which tend to compete in athletics, judo and swimming. Aruba has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
