History
The Cook Islands made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1988 and has competed ever since. The associated state sends a small delegation of athletes to the games where no more than 10 have competed in a single Olympics. Typically they compete in athletics, sailing and weightlifting. The Cook Islands have yet to win its first Olympic medal.
