History
San Marino made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1960. They would go on to miss the next Olympics, but since 1968 they have competed in all subsequent games. The nation sends a small delegation of fewer than 10 athletes to compete at each Olympics since 1996. The athletes have typically competed in athletics, shooting, swimming and historically in cycling. San Marino has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
