Monaco

History

Monaco made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1920 and has competed in most Olympics since. Overall the nation has missed three Olympics; 1932, 1956 and 1980 where it participated in the United States led boycott. Monaco competes with a small delegation with fewer than 10 athletes typically competing at each Olympics. The sports Monaco commonly competes in are athletics, judo, sailing, shooting and swimming. Monaco has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
