Albania

History

Albania made its Summer Olympic debut in 1972. The nation would then miss the next four games before returning in 1992 and has competed ever since. The nation has always participated in weightlifting and it also typically competes in athletics, shooting and swimming. Other sports Albania has taken part in include cycling, judo and wrestling. The nation has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
