Bhutan

History

Bhutan made its first Summer Olympic Games appearance in 1984 and has competed ever since. The nation sends a very small delegation of athletes to the games, competing in Bhutan’s national sport of archery. In fact it was the only sport they competed in until 2012 where they competed in shooting. In 2016 they competed in both archery and shooting. Bhutan has yet to win their first Olympic medal.
