Lesotho

History

Lesotho made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1972. They would go on to miss the 1976 games due to their participation of the African boycott. Since 1980 the nation has competed in all subsequent Olympics. Lesotho sends a small delegation of fewer than 10 athletes to compete. So far they have competed in athletics, boxing, cycling, swimming and taekwondo. Lesotho has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
