The Republic of Congo made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1964 and with the exception of 1968 and 1976 where it participated in the African boycott they have competed in all subsequent games. The nation sends a small delegation of athletes, typically under 10 to each games where they usually compete in athletics, judo, swimming and more recently in table tennis. The nation has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
