Chad

History

Chad made its first Summer Olympic appearance in 1964 and has competed ever since, with the exceptions of 1976 where it participated in the African boycott and 1980 where it participated in the United States led boycott. The nation sends a very small delegation of athletes to the games, no more than six have competed at a single Olympics. The sports Chad has so far participated in are athletics, boxing and judo. Chad has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
