The tripartite commission has awarded the Olympic quotas for boxing. In total, 20 quotas were awarded. Eligible nations were able to send applications in order to receive an invitation quota in various sports.
14 men and 6 women obtained quotas to compete. The nations include Albania (men’s -66kg), Benin (men’s -90kg), Bhutan (men’s -60kg), Comoros (men’s -81kg), Guinea (men’s -73kg), Honduras (women’s -63kg), Liechtenstein (men’s -90kg), Malawi (women’s -48kg), Monaco (men’s -73kg), Montenegro (women’s -78kg), Myanmar (women’s -63kg), Nepal (women’s -48kg), North Macedonia (women’s -52kg), Palestine (men’s -81kg), San Marino (men’s -90kg), Seychelles (men’s -90kg), Sierra Leone (men’s -81kg), Sri Lanka (men’s -73kg), Sudan (men’s -73kg) and Yemen (men’s -73kg).
This concludes the qualification process for judo. All that remains is for nations to accept their quotas.
