Equestrian: South Africa Qualifies First Dressage Team from Group F Qualifier

For the first time, South Africa qualified a full team to compete in dressage after winning the Group F team qualifier. The event was part of the 2019 Dressage CDI Exloo meet. Only the winner qualified a team to compete at the games. Group F consists of nations from Africa and the Middle East. The Dressage CDI Exloo meet is currently being held in Exloo, Netherlands from October 24th to October 27th.

As the only eligible nation competing in the team event, South Africa only needed to successfully complete their performance to qualify to the Olympics. They were able to successfully compete the event, earning a team score of 196.630.

Athletes which are selected to the team event will also be eligible to compete in the individual event. Additionally, all athletes must achieve the minimum eligibility requirements in order to be allowed to compete. With the conclusion of the team qualifiers only individual athletes will be able to qualify via the Olympic rankings.
