The final team quotas for jumping were decided with the conclusion of the Group F qualification event, part of the 2019 Morocco Royal Tour. The two highest ranked eligible nations qualified a spot to compete at the Olympics. Group F consists of nations from Africa and the Middle East. The Morocco Royal Tour was held in Rabat, Morocco from October 9th to October 13th 2019.
Overall six nations competed in the team event with two rounds of jumping. Egypt easily won the first round where they only incurred a single time penalty point. Qatar and Morocco were a bit afar with 10 and 13 points respectively. The second round similarly saw Egypt incurring three time penalty points as they won the event and Olympic quota with a score of 4 points. The second Olympic quota was won by Qatar who finished with a total score of 28 while Morocco finished third with a score of 31 points.
Athletes which are selected to the team event will also be eligible to compete in the individual event. Additionally, all athletes must achieve the minimum eligibility requirements in order to be allowed to compete. With the conclusion of the team qualifiers only individual athletes will still be able to qualify via the Olympic rankings.
Update: Qatar was disqualified due to failing a drug test. Therefore the Olympic quota was reallocated to the next highest ranked nation, Morocco.
